A qualified meeting place on the Italian market 

Klimaenergy is one of Italy’s most important renewable energy trade fairs. The most important branches of the renewable energy industry present products and services: Solar Thermal, Hydroelectricity and Hydrogen, Biomass, Biogas and Biofuel, Geothermal power, Wind energy, Cogeneration, Financing, Research and development, specialized press.

Klimaenergy focuses on applications of renewable sources in industry and municipalities. It offers innovative solutions and advanced technologies to industry and municipalities that want to reduce the energy costs of their activities by using and integrating different sources of renewable energy aiming at becoming 100% renewable.

Along with the information on offer, there is a highly worthwhile conference and fringe program with numerous events:

• International Congress
• Guided Tours to innovative local plants and installations of renewable sources
• Specialized conferences of the trade association for industry and hotels
• Innovation Forum
• Klimaenergy Award for the most interesting and innovative projects with renewable energy realized by Italian municipalities
• Workshop on the SEAP and on the SMART GRIDS
• Workshop on Energy saving and producing buildings, whit integration of renewable energies:

• ESAP –Energy Saving and Producing Buildings, to Nearly Zero Energy Buildings
• Integration of Solar Technologies into the building envelope: BIPV e BIST (Building Integrated Photovoltaics and Solar Thermal)
• Italian Championship on the solar energy

EURAC is supporting the organization of Klimaenergy Award and of the two workshops. In particular the second is also one of the training modules of the Innovation school (WP8 Enerbuild). Detailed information on the whole event will be soon available.
