General

The main objective of the ENERGY FORUM is to contribute to a multidisciplinary, integrated planning approach among architects, engineers, scientists, energy managers and manufacturers, with the aim to reduce energy consumption while improving the comfort and health of the building’s occupants. Emphasis is placed on the latest developments and innovations in integrated components for the building industry, in particular with regard to the use of renewable energy and multifunctional building envelopes.The Forum took place from the 30.11.2009 - 04.12.2009 in Bressanone (Italy). Following Workshops were held there:

• Certification of energy-efficient public buildings - ENERBUILD
  
• Building Integrated Photovoltaics for Architects and Engineers
• Energy Management and Energy Contracting for Small Towns
• Energy Efficiency through Energy Contracting - Legal Issues

Simultaneous translations into Italian and English was available for all presentations.

Official ENERBUILD Day, 30.11.2009

The ENERBUILD - Workshop was a big success for our project. Around 50 persons attended the workshop. It was moderated by Wolfram Sparber (Head of Institute for Renewable Energy, EURAC research). Experts from different Countries presented the existing evaluation tools for private and public buildings. A booklet containing all those evaluation systems and a presentation of the lecturers was handed over to all participants.

After the presentations we had a discussion between the experts and the attendants. The specific needs for the Alpine Space, an outlook of the expected development and the possible involvement of the Project ENERBUILD was discussed. Following evaluation tools were presented:

Internal WP - Meetings, 1.12.2009

The WPRs of the WPs 3, 5, 7 and 8 held internal project Workshops on the second day of the Energy Forum. In WP 3 Matthias Längle presented the Project Homepage and an Internal Tool, WP 5 was held by Maria Giulia Faiella and strongly focused on Action 5.4., Laurent Chanussot was responsible for WP 7 discussin an elaborated questionnaire and WP 8 was prepared and held by Willy Küchler. All actions within this Workpackage were targeted. All the Workshops were professional prepared which lead to a lot of good results and inputs for the further project implementation.

SC-Meeting, 2.12.2009

In the SC-Meeting Franz Rüf presented the Results of the official ENERBUILD Day. All the WPRs gave an overview about the status quo within their Workpackage and advised the PPs on different defaults and to dos in the near future. Moreover the Inputs for PR 2, the Resolution to be signed and the possible Meetings in the future were discussed.
