Renewable Energy Sources Fair in Lyon

In the framework of the European programme ENERBUILD and within the Renewable Energy Sources Fair in Lyon (France), Rhônalpénergie-Environnement has organised, on February 16th, an international conference entitled "Tools for Environmental Quality Building, from Europe to the territories: What convergence?"

Tools or criteria for environmental quality are manifold both internationally and nationally as territorially. This presents a great richness in its diversity but leads to a heterogeneous source of confusion and complexity for both owners and managers.

After a presentation of the framework of the energy policy of the Rhône-Alpes regional Council by Benoit Leclair, Vice-president in charge of energy and climate, the first part of the conference focused on drawing up a state of art of existing tools in France and Europe with Andrea Moro, ISBEE (Italy) and Claire Vilasi, Ville Aménagement Durable

The second part of the conference was about transnational processes of convergence with Markus Berchtold, Heimaten (Austria), Daniel Fauré, BDM (France) and Margaux Meunier, SB Alliance (France). Discussions were also held with the partners of the European IRH project working on the same topic on the Mediterranean area. The conference was then followed by a roundtable that has highlighted the need for simplification as well as the need for convergence and the desire for cooperation between different stakeholders.

In compiling an inventory and by reviewing the convergence actions at European, national or local level, this conference gave an overview of the current situation but also initiated sharing of experience and collaborations.
